Finance Director

A key partner to the Managing Principals in NY & SF and Global Commercial team, which will involve the usual aspects of the financial guardianship plus using that knowledge to help inform and advise the more commercial aspects of client related areas, such as procurement and price negotiations, HR and involvement with the legal angles relating to all those and others.
It is a collaborative role, which will involve plenty of interaction with the senior US leadership team regarding all aspects of the business, the clients, people and culture.
This role will be integral to its own development as the aim of the business is to grow and increase market share in the US.

Responsibilities:

• Lead & manage US Finance team towards effective and accurate financial statements and management information, whilst looking for ways to incorporate further best practice and efficiencies
• Responsibility for improving the financial processes as they relate to the business as a whole
• Strategically partner with US President in forecasting and modeling for planned growth
• Manage internal and external relationships such as: banks, external and internal auditors, tax authorities, group management, etc.
• Responsibility over the preparation of management accounts, corporate group reporting & statutory accounts
• Maintenance of SOX Compliance & issue remediation
• Deliver formal value add management information including but not limited to:
• In depth Variance Analysis, Income Analysis, & Revenue Recognition
• KPI Modeling & Reporting
• Department & Business Units Efficiency / Trend Analysis
• Job / Client Profitability
• Workforce Utilization
• Risk & Exposure Management
• Responsibility over the integrity, completeness and accuracy of financial statements
• Responsibility for full balance sheet management
• Management of working capital
• Streamline the “local book to corporate book” reporting process
• Manage and complete the budgeting & forecasting process liaising closely with the Chief Commercial Officer
• Responsibility over the accuracy & integrity of timesheet accountability and payroll reporting
• Facilitate Staff on the job training & coaching, always working towards thinking smarter / working smarter
• Support Client Contract review & compliance both financially & commercially
